My next big calendar point for me is the Royal Berkshire Show, 21-22nd September, where I show and sell a selection of carvings, also collaborating with Rob Dyer from Treet.
I have been booked for two pumpkin carving events this year, also our first pumpkin carving commission for Halloween on a river boat restaurant Showboat, on the Thames near Marlow, who will be displaying several gruesome carved heads as table pieces!
Private commissions, stump jobs and exciting community projects continue to come in to keep me busy, so I have plenty to be thankful for with great support from family and friends around. Keep an eye on my site for new work or check out (and like!) my facebook page where you’ll see even more of my work.

Been doing some planning for the year ahead, so now in a position to post a few places to catch me doing demo’s and showing my work, mainly in Berkshire, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire.
The most significant is the Open Studios Scheme running throughout May, when you come up to my workshop to chat and see works in creation. One of my pieces will also be in the Insight exhibition up at New Greenham Arts.
Before that, on Good Friday, I am carving at The Garden Centre in Stratton, Swindon. Do pop along for a look, and maybe pick up a piece. I am still looking for a buyer for the Oak Carved chair which is there.
After Open Studios I shall be carving a big piece at Woodfest Wales during the Bank Holiday weekend in June, then doing a demo day at the Garden Centre in Wendover on June 10th, and appearing at Wraysbury Village fete, just off the M25 near Windsor on June 16th.
